Habitats: Chalk downland and breckland.

Habits:

Foodplant: Multiple larvae form strongly contorted, narrow gallery mines in a leaf of Agrimony. The mines greatly widen, often joining to form an elongated blotch. It pupates in the mine, usually at the tip of a leaf.
