Habits:
Foodplant: The larva forms a narrow, strongly contorted gallery mine in a leaf of Wild Strawberry or Barren Strawberry. This ends in a broad corridor or elongate blotch which frequently overlaps the earlier mine. It pupates in a cocoon in the leaf litter or under the soil.
