Habitats:
Habits: The male will come to light.
Foodplant: The larva feeds on lichens growing on tree trunks, walls and fences. The full-fed larva overwinters in its case where it pupates in late January or February attached to a fence, rock or a crevice in a trunk. The pupal case is left half protruding from the larval case on emergence.
