Forewing: 6 to 9mm

Habitats: The lower wooded slopes of mountains.

Habits: The moth occasionally flies in the day. It comes to light.

Foodplant: The larva feeds in bracket fungi and the surrounding dead wood, especially Alder Bracket Xanthoporia radiata on dead Alder trunks or Birch Polypore Fomitopsis betulina.
