Habitats: In and around farm buildings. Otherwise wherever it can source its larval foodstuffs.
Habits: The moth comes to light.
Foodplant: The larva feeds on animal and plant detritus, including wool outdoors, bird's of prey pellets, dried seeds and occasionally detritus in bird's nests.
