Habitats: Deciduous woodland, woodland rides, clearings and margins and scrub.
Habits:
Foodplant: The larva forms a mine between the leaf margin and the midrib on the underside of a leaf of Honeysuckle or occasionally Snowberry or Himalayan Honeysuckle. The mine contracts diagonally causing the leaf to roll transversely. Occasionally the mine is on the upperside.
