Habitats: Deciduous woodland, fens and marshes.
Habits: The males fly in sunshine assembling to the females during the middle of the day.
Foodplant: The larva feeds slowly in a folded spun leaf of Bog Myrtle, willows, Blackthorn, Silverweed, Meadow-sweet, Purging Buckthorn, brambles and probably many other plants. It pupates in the leaf litter.
