Foodplant: The larva feeds in the leaf litter at the base of tree trunks on decaying leaves, lichen, moss and dead insects. It has a case made from a folded over section of a leaf. It is thought to have a two year lifecycle. It pupates spun on a dead leaf, low on a tree trunk.
