Foodplant: The larva lives in a tube formed by rolling over the leaves and spinning the terminal shoots of Wild Carrot or Rough Chervil. It sometimes spins the flowers. It is also found on Pepper-saxifrage, Hemlock Water-dropwort, Wild Celery, Milk Parsley and probably other umbellifers. It pupates in a flimsy cocoon in the earth or in the leaf litter.
