Habits: The moth is occasionally disturbed during the day and can be swept from Bracken. It later comes to light.
Foodplant: The larva feeds in the upper part of a stem or a side shoot of Bracken, sometimes causing a slight swelling or even drooping of a side shoot. It pupates in the leaf litter.
