Habitats: Boggy heathland.
Habits: The moth flies from sunset and occasionally comes to light. It was last recorded in 1962 near King's Lynn, Norfolk.
Foodplant: The larval feeds from within a vertical spinning of the upper terminal leaves of Bog Myrtle. It pupates within the larval spinning or in the leaf litter.
