Habitats: Woodland.
Habits: The moth sometimes rests on the flowers of the foodplant during the day. Both sexes comes to light.
Foodplant: The larva feeds on the spun flowers of Bluebell and Ox-eye Daisy.
On the European mainland it has also been recorded from Bilberry, Drooping Star of Bethlehem, squills and willows. It pupates in a spinning in the leaf litter.
