Habitats:
Habits: A moth was first recorded in County Waterford in September 2006. In recent years it has been recorded in other areas including south Devon and south Dorset. Distributed from southern Europe to the Far East and Australia.
Foodplant: The early stages have not been recorded in Britain and Ireland. Where it is native, it is recorded feeding on Common Reed and Coco-grass Cyperus rotundus.
