Habitats: Marshes and fens.
Habits: The moth flies at dusk.
Foodplant: The larva at first mines a leaflet of Marsh Pea, but later spins two leaflets flat together to form a 'pod'. This causes blanching of the terminal part of the pod. The larva produces several pods before it is full-fed. The second generation larva overwinters full-fed in a cocoon in the leaf litter, before pupating in April
