Forewing: 5.5 to 7.5mm
Habitats: Open woodland, calcareous grassland and grassy embankments.
Habits: The moth flies low to the ground in the late afternoon. It later comes to light.
Foodplant: The larva folds up the edges of the basal leaves of Goldenrod. The full-fed larva spins a cocoon in the leaf litter where it overwinters until it pupates in April.
