Habits: The moth flies rapidly on warm evenings. It occasionally comes to light and will visit sugar.
Foodplant: The larva feeds on Portland Spurge and Wood Spurge. It eats the seeds and also the leaves by spinning a silk gallery up the stem and drawing in the leaves and spinning them. The autumn larva overwinters in a cocoon in the larval habitation, where it pupates in March.
