Habitats: Open woodland.

Habits: The moth flies around young Aspens from early evening until dusk. It was last recorded in Britain in 1938.

Foodplant: The larva feeds in a spun leaf on a terminal shoot of an Aspen sapling. It pupates in the turned down edge of a leaf. The leaf falls to the ground in autumn.
