Habitats: Deciduous woodland.
Habits: The moth flies at dusk and later comes to light.
Foodplant: The larva feeds in a rolled leaf of Aspen and occasionally White Poplar, Black Poplar and Grey Poplar. In the later instars the larva will leave the rolled leaf at night to feed on the adjacent foliage. It pupates in a flimsy cocoon in the leaf litter or in the soil.
