Habitats: Woodland rides and margins, parkland and suburban trees.

Habits: The moth flies high around poplars on sunny afternoons. It occasionally comes to light.

Foodplant: The larva lives between two leaves spun flat together on White Poplar, Black Poplar or Aspen. It pupates in a flimsy cocoon within the spinning.
