Forewing: 7 to 9.5mm
Habitats: Open woodland.
Habits: The moth flies in the late afternoon and early evening. It has not been recorded in Britain since 1938.
Foodplant: The larva feeds between two flat-spun leaves or in the folded edge of a leaf of Aspen. It overwinters in a similar structure to the feeding sites. This structure falls to the ground during the winter. In the spring the larva spins a cocoon between two leaves or in a dead leaf and pupates.
