Habits: The moth is easily disturbed in the day. It flies from dusk and later comes to light.
Foodplant: The larva feeds in the young shoots of Sweet Briar, cultivated roses and other roses. It spins the shoot, then eats out the growing tip. It pupates in the spinning or in leaf litter.
