Habits: The moth rests on the flowers of the foodplants and flies in afternoon and evening sunshine. It occasionally comes to light.
Foodplant: The larva lives in the rootstocks and roots of Yarrow, Sneezewort and Tansy. It pupates in the soil in a silk, debris covered cocoon attached to the roots.
