Habitats: Coniferous plantations.
Habits: First recorded in Britain in Buckinghamshire 2010.
Foodplant: The early stages have not been recorded in Britain and Ireland. On the European mainland it is recorded as feeding under the bark of Norway Spruce, where it overwinters as a larva and pupates in the feeding place.
