Similar species:

Forewing: 5 to 5.5mm

Habitats: Mountain moorland and glens.

Habits: The moth rests on posts during the day. It flies around the foodplant in evening sunshine.

Foodplant: The larva feeds between the spun leaves of Bog-myrtle. It pupates in the spinning or perhaps in the leaf litter

In central Europe where Bog Myrtle is not present the moth feeds on Bog Bilberry.
