Similar species:

Forewing: 9 to 11mm

Habitats: Open woodland and gardens.

Habits: The moth is nocturnal and comes to light.

Foodplant: The larva lives in a silk tube between two spun leaves of White Willow and perhaps other willows and poplars as it does on the European mainland. It pupates in a papery silk cocoon.
