Forewing: 9 to 11mm

Habitats: Woodland.

Habits: The moth is nocturnal and comes to light and sugar.

Foodplant: The early stages have not been recorded in Britain and Ireland. On the European mainland the larva feeds in the spun leaves of Pedunculate Oak and perhaps other oaks.
