Habits: First recorded in Buckinghamshire on 31st July 2022. A Mediterranean species recorded from Spain to Turkey and Syria and also parts of North africa including Algeria.

Foodplant: The grey, black spotted larva has been recorded in birds nests in a silk gallery feeding on organic detritus.
