Habits: The moth flies in the day and at night. It comes to light.
Foodplant: The early stages have not been recorded in Britain. On the European mainland the larva feeds in the spun basal leaves of Common Thyme, Mugwort, figworts, cudweeds or everlastings. It pupates in a cocoon attached to the stem or the base of the foodplant.
