Habitats:

Habits: The habits are probably similar to Nomophila noctuella; the moth is easily disturbed in the day. It flies at night and comes to light.

Foodplant: The early stages have not been recorded in Britain and Ireland. In North America the polyphagous larva feeds on grasses, celery, lucerne, melilots, knotgrass, purslanes, mustard, cinquefoils and various other low-growing herbaceous plants.
