Forewing: 13 to 15mm

Habitats: Matures stands of Broom in sunny situations such as south facing embankments.

Habits: The moth flies in sunshine and is easily disturbed from the foodplant.

Foodplant: The larva feeds on Broom. It pupates in the soil.
