Similar species: Plumed Fan-foot Pechipogo plumigeralis is only slightly smaller 13 to 16mm, but with more pointed wings. The males have broad plumed antennae.

Habitats: On mainland Europe it inhabits oak forests.
Habits: The moth comes to light.
Foodplant: On the European mainland it feeds on the withered leaves of low growing plants. It pupates in leaf litter.
