Forewing: 16 to 19mm
Habitats: Coastal cliffs, rocky seashores. Inland on steep limestone grassland slopes.
Habits: The moth is attracted to sugar and light.
Foodplant: The nocturnal larva feeds on Thrift, Rock Sea-spurrey and other herbaceous plants. It hides near the ground during the day. In captivity it accepts Dandelion, plantains, docks, Knotgrass and sliced carrot. It pupates under the soil.
